On 16th and 17th December 2013 within the SEMA project five documentaries from the Millenium Collection will be projected in Auditorium Rai and at the University of Turin with free admission. The selection includes the film “A world not ours” – winner of the "Objectif d'Or" Award. The films address the challenges and opportunities of globalization, poverty, environmental protection and deforestation, and the difficulty to live in a Palestinian refugee camp in southern Lebanon, where up to 70 000 people inhabit an area of one square kilometer. A press conference inaugurating the event will be held on Monday, December 16th at 12:00 pm in the town hall. It will be attended, among others, by the Mayor of Turin, Piero Fassino, the President of the Millennium Festival Brussels, Lubomir Gueorguiev, the Director of UNDP Brussels, Antonio Vigilante and the Director of Sustainability and Social Secretariat Rai Adriano Coni. The screenings will be followed by debates and direct involvement of the students in their third year in BSc International Development and Cooperation, University of Turin.
